Film scores · Cinematic electronic music
Stefan Elefteriu is a Romanian composer and sound engineer whose career spans more than four decades across theatrical soundtracks, pop and electronic music, and studio production.
Trained at the Bucharest Conservatory in violin, piano, composition and orchestration, he came of age in the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War, when professional electronic instruments were almost impossible to obtain. So he built his own. That pairing of formal discipline and hands-on engineering has shaped his work ever since, from cinema and television to Sound Expert Studio, which he founded in Bucharest in 1994.
